2006 Crandall Family Reunion:
When: Our Reunion will be held on Saturday July 15th
Where: The First Hopkinton Seventh Day
Baptist Church Parish House on Church Street in Ashaway RI. This is
off of RI Route 3 South, about a 1/2 mile past the intersection of
RI Routes 3 & 216. RI Route 3 South is easily accessed from
Interstate 95.
2004 took place at the First Hopkinton Seventh Day
Baptist Church Parish House on Church Street in Ashaway RI.
Schedule:
9:00am - Registration will begin at the parish House(building next
to the church)
- There will be time to mingle, look at maps, books and other
memorabilia on display, plus there will be various items available
for purchase(cash or check, please)
11:00am- Church Service(Optional) at the First Hopkinton Seventh Day
Baptist Church next door.
12:15pm- Reunion group photograph on the church grounds weather
permitting.
12:30pm- A catered lunch will be available in the Parish House.
Donations: Adults - $10.00 Children 6-12 $5.00
1:30pm- Membership meeting conducted by President Judith C. Harbold
2:00pm- Guest speakers, Paul Gifford, Herbert Crandell(CFA#197), and
Judith C. Harbold(CFA#002)will give presentations about their
research on Crandall genealogy.
3:30pm- Visit the Elder John Crandall Homestead and Cemetery where
Pricilla McIssac(CFA#376) will present a plaque from the Colonial
Dames.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TO MAKE A MOTEL RESERVATION: remember Rhode Island is a HEAVY TOURIST AREA, and you will have to make reservations early!
